Does anyone know of a decent program to rip CDs to FLAC. I realize I can probably screw around with EAC or CDex or something, but is there a program out there that just does it?

CDex 1.60 beta1-cs1 does FLAC natively.

I don't use it, as it does have all of the options available that I want.

Hm. Guess I should've updated from 1.51.

Sechs, are you posting stuff on demonoid or is there another "sechs" out in the world someplace?

OK, installed CDex 1.60 beta1. No FLAC that I can see.

I have the FLAC frontend. I can rip to .wav and convert it. But it seems really moronic that I should have to take more than one step, just to have have a boutique "lossless" format...

I have "FLAC Encoder DLL" as an option.

I thought that the standard package came with a DLL, but you may need to install it. You can just copy over from the FLAC frontend folder.
