Brought me a smile. AMD should consider it. Would draw more attention than other recent ugly nicknames given to their offsprings (Duron, someone?).

I am omnipresent
I don't know why anyone would knock the Duron. Unlike the Celeron it offers very good price/performance.

I try not to be an AMD fanboy but there's a lot of PCs in the world that don't need to be 3200MHz, 100W monsters with hyperthreading.

Mercutio's first rule of CPU buying: If it's more than $15 more expensive for "next step up", it probably isn't worth it.

Intel suffers mightily by that rule.

I don't dislike the Duron processor itself, just the name AMD gave it. Celeron is without comment. Let's say it's a name only a mother could love (in fact since they borrowed the Willamette core, this comment could be applied to the entire processor, not only its name).

And what's the latest name of a certain AMD socket-A CPU? Thorton? IMO, Moron couldn't have been worst for marketing.
