A NASA-Department of Energy jointly funded study concludes the Earth has been greening over the past 20 years. As climate changed, plants found it easier to grow.

The globally comprehensive, multi-discipline study appears in this week's Science magazine. The article states climate changes have provided extra doses of water, heat and sunlight in areas where one or more of those ingredients may have been lacking. Plants flourished in places where climatic conditions previously limited growth.

Enlightening.

Indeed good news.
However even this can turn things bad if the climate becomes too warm.

However, many of the world's largest deserts have grown too (Sahara in particular). The water that goes up in the air is no longer found in the ground. When a climatic change occurs too fast, animal species cannot adapt quickly enough and disapear. No matter how the vegetation changes, most species are better adapted for one vegetation type than for any other. The smallest species are often the most fragile regarding this.

No one gonna convince me that the current global warming is a good thing.

Their research was global. The decline of growth in the deserts is offset by the increase in growth in places like mountains and the arctic.
The position you take is more dogmatic than usual for you.
