Good PCI SATA card?

I need a SATA PCI card. Any recommendations out there? I have had a reasonable experience with a Promise Ultra-100, so is their SATA chipset any good?

I don't need RAID and two ports should be enough, four would be a bonus. Plain vanilla.

Most of the cheapies - up to and including Adaptec's $50 2-port card - use the Sil chipset. It certainly works well enough for not having any advanced RAID features.

The Adaptec cards are great.

I'm using the 2015000 model in RAID 0. It works great. ($57.00)

If you don't want RAID, then the 2047600 will do. ($39.99)
