Crucial,

Funny, I've heard rave reviews about Crucial and quality. I bought 5 256MB DDR266 sticks direct from the 'States back in 2001 (I think) because it simply wasn't available in Aus at the time. One failed after a couple of years and was replaced under its lifetime warranty, and now another has died. It's not worth the shipping costs to get it replaced. I've never had any other memory fail on me, and I've bought a fair amount over the years.

Corsair is another that seems to trade on reputation. Their ValueSelect range (cheapskate me) is only average. The 1GB DDR2 667 will do 4-4-4-12 timings @ 667 or a little higher (rated as 5-5-5-15) from 4 sticks. GEiL Value (also 667 @ 5-5-5-15) is quite happy @ 800 speeds @ 4-4-4-12 (again a sample of 4 sticks). The Corsair Low Latency DDR400 sticks were good.
