I have a personal website that I want to have a guestbook on. This is normally simple, but I want the guestbook to be integrated into the design so that it looks like the rest of the site.

The site is pretty simple (uses CSS). So, does anyone have any experience with any of the different free guestbook scripts available on the internet?

I found this, which looks kind of promising. Anyone have any advice?

Looks nice but overkill for a guestbook.
Why do you need mysql?
Something that uses a flat file might be easier to maintain.
Then you could just move the file with the site.
Unless part of you site is in mysql anyway and you have to backup now.

Well I ended up installing the script that I mentioned above. I got it completely customized so that it looks like the rest of of the site.

You can check it out, but I wouldn't look at any of the content unless you want your eyes to pop out of your head. (No pornography or anything, mainly just lots of drinking)

You also have to enter one of those randomly generated codes from an image file to make your post go through, so hopefully that will take care of most of the spam.
