Hi this is RRonald777, im using my teachers name to post for this subject. I was wondering how I can get a webpage I designed on frontpage 2003 to a website/address for free or little cost? I already have a .tk address and a freewebs page but, how can I make my site appear on the .tk site? Thanks.

So, you've created the pages and you have a domain name (www.something.tk), now you need someone to host your pages, and then point your domain name to that location. Sometimes your Internet Service provider gives their customer's space as part of a package. Sometimes the company that you've registered your domain name offers space for hosting the actual content. Another option is that you use another company for hosting your content, some of these companies were discussed in a previous thread: http://www.storageforum.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3653

By the way, welcome aboard Ronald.

Looking at the free domain .tk site, you basically have a forwarding service. They provide a service much like mydomain.com. When a request for youdomain.tk comes in they will redirect those requests to the address of your choice. This will be your freewebs page: http://www.FreeWebs.com/yourusername. You would upload your webpage to your freewebs space. Thus it will be accessible through: http://www.FreeWebs.com/yourusername. Now you have to point yourdomain.tk to the freewebs address. This will be done through some configuration page at the dot tk site. A control panel of sorts for your domain.

Ronald, you'll also want to inquire about an option for "Front Page extensions" when looking for web hosting. I don't normally recommend front page as a tool to learn about HTML, but if that's what you have to work with, then you should look into Front Page Extensions.
