Why, the version-2 seems to deal with the major complaints of version-1: More capacity and higher speed. Though it will probably cost more too.

What goes in a 5.25" bay besides DVD Burners or 3.5" hard disks with spacers or fan enclosures?

My case only has 10 bays – 6x 3.5' and 4x 5.25". All of the 3.5" bays are occupied by HDs, two of the 5.25" bays hold optical drives, one holds a removable HD enclosure, and the other 5.25" bay is occupied by the SCSI boot drive behind a switch panel.
