I think that there's a little confusion here between input device and windowing system.

This demonstration appears to be a Macintosh running some flavour of OS X.

I was disappointed that this device did not appear to be able to determine the difference between different fingers on different hands.

Its this a projection system or humongop LCD etc? It ssdems that the user could have a fun time, but viwers wold be blocked by the user. The screnn would be unsatinary and transmiot disease if not celaned betwen users. Al in all it owuld be less ergnonical tham a mouse or pad, ball, wahtever. Standign and extending arms for extended period s causes ohther problems.
