Here's the auction : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3425803147

I listed United States and Canada, but that's only because I didn't want to break my head with all the shipping costs worldwide so I kept it simple. In reality, I'm whiling to ship anywhere...except Italy and Greece ;-) Besides, I think the term Australiasia eBay uses to describe both Asia and Oceania is stupid, so I don't want to put it in my auction.

Depending on the result I get with the Adaptec controller, I might try eBay again for both my SCSI drives (Atlas 10KIII and Cheetah X15-36LP, both in 18GB format).

good job. That is a nice description. Good picture... you got a link to the manuf... reason for selling.. starting price 1 penny below a cut off point.. upfront shipping... Nice work. You're selling like a pro.

The only things I could ask for would be a in auction list of the cards features as well as more/larger pictures.

btw, you say you offer a terminated LVD cable... how many connectors does it have?

Evil Blake. I had already all packed up my box with myriad of foam bubles when you asked that. The cable has 6 connectors : one for the HBA and four for the drives, plus the terminated one.

I also bundled three or four old games I had (Star Trek Nemesis, Messiah, Thief and another one I can't remember) with the card. I don't know if they are only demos or full versions of the games. I received them with the graphic cards I have bought over the years and I've never installed/played them.

I tried to insert a supersized picture (actually something like 640 pixel wide), but it shrinked it to the size you see in the auction. Even when I selected SS picture. Whatever. I have a 1024x768 picture of the card on my hard drive if someone wants to see it with more details.
Nice work. You're selling like a pro.
Thanks, but when I visit Clocker's auctions, I tell myself that I would be far more tempted to bid on his than on mine. Guess he has learned something I still haven't in the 200+ auctions he participated in.

You can use HTML in your description and use images you host wherever you like. If you use the eBay host, they shrink down your pics.

I just use the same template in Frontpage for every ad....occasionally modding it. I'd be happy to send it to you if you would like to use it. Just PM or mail me if interested.

I love being able to do this from my couch on my laptop ! :)

Yeehoo, SOLD!

I thought it wouldn't make the reserve price, but it did. First sell ever via eBay. There are quite a few fees here and there and their total amount (I have to pay for currency convertion) is, well, not negligible. When all things have been considered, my 101.50$ auction leaves me approximately 92$ in my pockets (U$ currency). Still not that bad for a card I had no use for anymore.

Overall, I'm satisfied with my experience using eBay.
