Internet Connection Woes (v. speaking Klingon)

Can someone do a trace route on stereodude.net and post it for me.

My home internet is down and after speaking to two of the RoadRunner "techs" on the phone I concluded I might as well have been speaking to Klingon. :tdown: I mentioned ping and trace route and you could tell it went right over their heads. The second tech got confused when I called the "internet modem" (her name for it) a cable modem. Unreal...

The Modem has a valid DHCP address. I can ping the listed gateway successfully, but not my DNS servers. A trace route of my DNS server fails after 3 hops (my router, and two external hops).

Now I have to wait until Wed for a tech to come out. :frusty:

It had to be more than that. I couldn't ping anything by IP either.
