Seems like I'm having a harder time finding KT600 boards. I can still get Gigabyte VT600s right now, but has anyone else noticed a marked decline in the availability of Via-based boards lately?
I've seen a steady increase of P4 boards from Abit, Aopen, Asus, DFI, and MSI. Then for second place, AMD chips are battling between nVidia and VIA, with nVidia taking some of the major inventory space away from VIA. Of course, this is all from a distribution inventory perspective.
That is highly disappointing.
I can go from a K6 or Pentium all the way to an Athlon 64 or P4 on a single system image with Via. I haven't had nearly as much luck getting nforce-anything to work that way.
