i think I'll wait till it's integrated into a distro before I try it... should be just another couple months now.

Doesn't knoppix still use 2.4.x?

As of 4 days ago the official one was still 2.4.

If you visit their forums there are several variations being maintained outside Knoppix. There's probably somebody with a 2.6 (maybe even 2.6.1) based distro.
