I am looking for an up to date Linux router that runs from floppy. Google search turns up plenty of choices but they are old. I need something that is less than a year old to run on new hardware.
Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Bozo :mrgrn:

Er... new hardware?
For a Floppy Linux distro?
Like what? NIC? 'Cause it's not like you'd be using anything else.

OK, now that I've finished picking piece of my brain off the wall behind me, I'm thinking you would do well with Coyote Linux. It's got a 2.4 kernel, which ought to be good enough for anything a router might be doing.

Agreed, I've used Coyote with good success... but it was on a 486....

However, i've upgraded to smoothwall and probably wouldn't go back. I'm hoping that USB pen drives will be the next "floppy" firewall. (Then you'd basically have a Linksys WRT-54G with more flexibility)
