Well most soundcards don't have MIDI on them anymore. I think those are really targeted at MAC users who don't have the ability to put a PCI card in their system to improve upon the built in sound card. But, since they are USB they will also work on a PC.

Does your customer need MIDI? Those two devices aren't really very similar.

Apparently she does. I forgot what MIDI is. Only thing I remember about it is that people with long hair and smelling weed asked for this stuff in the nineties.

MIDI: Musical Instrument Digital Interface.

It's basically the instructions to play music. Note, volume, duration, etc.

The second one doesn't have MIDI, so it should make things easy for you.
