This is an itch I need to scratch; a place to share examples of everyday insanity that seem to be on the rise.

A bright red image of a blood-spattered fingerprint will be used to send a shock message to the public about what many families face after their loved ones have been murdered.

The posters, to be displayed in Brisbane's King George Square on Thursday for Homicide Awareness Day, also feature messages such as "Homicide destroys" and "Murder is the theft of a loved one".

It's just an advert. There are many really stupid ones around every day. I doubt that most do much but annoy people.
