Storage? I am Storage!
HEy, I was looking for free software firewalls when I ran across this little dandy..
NetBOZ
It's a FreeBSD based router/firewall similar to smoothwall and coyote linux.
The web based interface looks interesting enough... some of the more interesting features include not just a DHCP server, but also a DNS server, realtime traffic monitoring, and squid proxy server.
it can run completely from CD or can be installed to a HDD.. the requirements are a bit steep however (64MB RAM and pentium class CPU.. and several hundred MB of HDD space if installed to HDD)
Another neat router which is freeBSD based is m0n0wall (http://m0n0.ch/wall/)
It has a prettier interface and has alot of options as well(including a DynDNS updater which works with more than one Dynamic DNS provider).
It's a bit lighter at ~5MB and suposedly will run on 32MB of RAM.. no mention of the necessary CPU specs. (but says it will boot in 40 seconds on a net4501 which is a 100-133MHz AMD 486 class processor with a max of 64MByte RAM)
