Microsoft Edge Update

On June 25 MS released a Microsoft Edge update for Windows 7. So far I haven't installed it just in case there are any potential issues. Is it safe to install, or have any problems cropped up since the release?

I don't like those reviews that essentially say "I don't know, I didn't try it". But since you haven't gotten any other response, I looked up an Email I sent to my bro-in-law, on July 10:

Last night, I got a Windows Update for the MS Edge browser.

I thought it was just for some security/bug fixes, but after the forced reboot, Edge started a "show&tell" session demo-ing all of its great new features. Edgy indeed.

It took a few minutes to exit from that κραπ (pardon my Greek), so I could check to make sure that Chrome was still my default browser.

That was on my seldom-used Win10 box, on which I do keep MS security up-to-date, paranoically.
