Ever install capture drivers and then get a temporary Local Area Connection 2, due to Microsoft TV/Video Connection?
First time it ever occured for me (or at least that I happened to notice). A google search came up with a couple of hits. Interestingly, the quickest explaination I obtained was from this Russian site. Nyet nyet Soviet.
