    LSI Logic SAS HBAs transfer data at 3Gb/s (300MB/s) per port half-duplex. Since SAS supports concurrent upstream and downstream transmissions (full-duplex), maximum bandwidth can be as high as 6Gb/s (600 MB/s) per port.
