Motherboard Question

Does anybody have any experiance with a Supermicro Super P4SCT+II motherboard.? I'm thinking of buying one but I can't seem to find a review or any write-up about it.

I have the P4SCT (no marvel raid or second gigabit). It is a very nice board and choices are limited for P4+AGP+PCI64/66 like I wanted. I can see this board sitting in my server for a very long time. Not a bad choice for a very high end workstation too.

That's the thread that got me looking at this motherboard. Would you know if you can boot from the Marvell SATA RAID controller?

Hmm, I might be reading it wrong but you might need a card to make it boot from the Marvel. Go get the manual and look at page 1-10 first paragraph. This might be the card that goes into that blue slot that I don't have (not blue anyway).

You can boot from the Mavel controller without any addition cards. Just load the drivers during the OS install and set the BIOS boot order.
