Does anyone know where I can get a 4 drive SATA or Firewire enclosure at something like a reasonable price?

I'm looking at a 4 drive SATAenclosure from MacGurus.com for $250. Which I guess is not bad, but its fundamental similarity to SCSI units that cost half that much is off-putting... and the SCSI enclosures only need a single connection for multiple drives.

OK, how about something like this?

Anyone used these? They look great from the standpoint of increased density but if they're loud or get too hot I don't want 'em.

I have the older 4 drive SCSI version of that enclosure, it has a 90mm fan in the back, but I can't hear it what with the 3*15K drives in there (the IBM is one noisy mofo). Interesting to see how much the prices have droppped on these....

I wouldn't consider the fan to be loud, be aware that the enclosure will make a most horrific screech if you happen to disconnect it tho, I can't remember if you can disable the alarm via jumpers.
