National Pork Board cease and deist demand

I truly had a chuckle when I read this: Unicorn meat

It appears that the National Pork Board demands that ThinkGeek quit using the term "The Other White Meat" to describe their April Fool's Day product of Unicorn meat.

They have to protect their trademark. I'm actually pretty sure that the Pork Board lawyer who drew up the C&D in the first place got a chuckle over having to write it.

Our legal system is more than a little ridiculous.

Parodies are protected and there is plenty of legal precedent not to try this kind of crap.

This has nothing to do with our legal system being inefficient, rather it's lawyers looking for a way to bill more hours.
