Network question

In Windows Server 2003, is it posible to use two network cards with the same address? I've searched and all I've found is Network Load Balancing which is spreading request between servers. I'm trying to get more through-put.

Even if you could do it I don't think that would produce the results you want. That solution would send all inbound and outbound IP packets through both cards. Good for redundancy, no advantage for throughput, bad for network congestion.

The later part of this thread should be enlightening.

You can create multiple DNS name entries for different IPs. 200x's DNS will send requests to alternate IPs.
