New Athlon64 FX and motherboard for sale

For sale:

Athlon64 FX 51 with stock heatsink and fan
and an ASUS SK8N motherboard.

These are both brand new and unused. I was one of 64 to enter the vault at www.area-64.com and attend AMD's launch. I now have the above hardware with me here at home but have decided to sell the processor, its stock cooling system, and the motherboard. I'll be building my super duper 64 bit computer in a month or so when I get the chance but right now I think selling these parts is best for me.

Currently in stock processors are selling for more than $900 and the motherboard is available for about $230 so I think this combo is worth $1100 plus shipping. If anyone is interested please PM me. If no one is interested please don't flame me.

I'm giving the folks here and over at Eugene's first refusal then I will attempt my first Ebay listing.

Funny, the instant win set just arrived today. A real case for it will be here on Wednesday so I will not be so much as breathing on the new set until I have a real case to put it in. Guess the CoolFX will have to wait ... At least I'll be playing with 64-bits in all the stability of a new M$ beta OS .
