Certainly doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in them, eh?

On related issues, where are the plans to make 2.5" SATA drives? If SAS controllers can use a mix-n-match hodge-podge of SAS and SATA, logic dictates that 2.5" SATA drives should be in the wings as well.

Thoughts?

I'll go out on a limb and guess that Hitachi will be including that exact market.

There already are some 2½ incher SATA drives. Fujitsu and Hitachi make 'em.
