I'm thinking about using solely NFS on my home network, and hence the question:
Do you have any favourite NFS clients for windows? What about servers?

If you've done this before, what recommendations/opinions do you have about this?

I'm using 2 Linux hosts and one WinXP host.

As it would only run on an internal network on my 3 machines, I'm not too worried about the security implications of NSF
(security meaning, that only by spoofing you IP you can get access to all data on an NFS share, you might even be able to have root access on the share, you might be another user as NFS requires you to have the same UID and GID on both machines...that's for starters).

Data integrity as in UDP protocoll if I remember correctly. No data verification.

...And now I'm reading stuff from the link you posted, and the first google link does give a very good overview of the services for the layman.

I am omnipresent
In the past - before Samba was the triumph of the free software world (1996ish) - I did some work with Intergraph Diskshare and PC-NFS. It worked, but Samba is about a billion times better, and is free.
