It looks like a fun project. I like the rendering animation when he added the different items into the house.

Some of that looks to me like someone was asked to find something to do with X random Microsoft computing initiative. I did watch the whole thing. It's also interesting that they didn't demo "render an object in 3D from the tablet computer's camera when they went through the trouble of showing off all the other stuff.
