Has anyone seen a floppy drive reciever/carrier device? Similar to the removable hard drive units.

No, but USB floppy drive carriers are pretty common.

And if you REALLY wanted to do it internally, there are SCSI floppy drives in the world, and SCSI carriers.

You could get an IDE floppy device and then use carriers with a removable front. I've done that with a zip drive.

All of the internal ls120 drives I've seen have an IDE interface... it's too bad that they operate in PIO mode... I would prefer a UDMA device just so it wont hog the bus if connected to the same channel as a CD-ROM or HDD.
