P4 2.4C Northwood 800mhz, i865PE mobo, Audigy2 ZS

I played around with the Intel stuff below but I’ve decided to go back to AMD after finding out I will need faster memory and a more overclocking friendly motherboard to realize the potential of the P4 2.4C. I'm sure it will clock to 3.0ghz and above but I don't want to go through the effot to try with a different motherboard. Stupid me, I even forgot that Intel locks their CPUs because the AMDs are so easy for me to work with. So I’m replacing the stuff below with another NF2 board (DFI Ultra Infinity) and will continue using my Barton 2500 @ 3200.

The board works great, it just isn’t an overclocker’s dream. I just installed the latest BIOS and it is currently processing work units with the P4 listed below.

Retail Box with Intel cooler (remarkably quiet, IMO). Again, just a day or two old and crunching work units as I type.

P4 arrived safely and happily with Clocker's usual overabundance of packing tape.

In fact, in trying to remove all the tape from the top of the box, the sides ripped open. Someone else needs to buy Clocker's old hardware sometime, so they can see what the heck I'm talking about.
