Prefered HTML editor

Just wondering if any of you guys have strong preferences for an HTML editor. For the past few years I've used Macromedia's Dreamweaver, which I like but think is overkill for what I do. I just need basic functionality, and am looking for a simpler alternative. Has anybody used the [ulr=http://www.mozilla.org/editor/]Mozilla Editor[/url]?

Now, I use Zend studio for my html/php development. It's not exactly a good HTML editor per se, but it has tag-completion which I enjoy.

A tool you may want to consider is HTML Kit. Rather versitile in its plug-ins (CSS, PHP, XML, etc), and does a decent job...the price is right @ $0.00.

There is the new tool Nvu which is basically the mozilla editor as a standalone tool and improved.

The later, but a basic webpage management tool that's easy to use (WYSIWYG).

I use Adobe GoLive for that. Also, not basic.

Netscape used to come with a reasonably useful tool for composing and maintaining webpages.

Xemacs does tag highlighting. Very handy. vi does.... how do you exit vi?

In unix, you exit vi by doing the following:

Press escape
:wq
(that does a write quite saving changes)

or

Press escape
:q!
(force quite without saving changes)

sechs, vi does in fact support syntax highlighting.
Of course, you have to be using a terminal that can support color, which I usually don't, but the option does exist.

There is no doubt in my mind that someone who has learned to edit with vi will be more productive than anyone using any other editor.

I also write html without a wysiwyg editor.
Does this make me hardcore?

Or something. Chords are for pianos (and guitars, for those who accept a lesser instrument).
