Something happened with my DVD-RAM files, very similar experienced with my Max MO, a few years ago. No, there is no any media defect, but just question I ask myself here, fishing for some constructive suggestion.
Usually I keep them write-protected. But just this once, it was in drive and allowed for XP - before booting - to be checked. Well it is "checked" all right with chaotic XP style of destroying things.
This be the state found at the moment, serves me well, for daring even occasional use of XP :
This never ever happened with any other OS, particularly with other Windows.
So my question is ; this media had pretty nice sorted collection of things from my work. I could find them on other places, but, I wonder, since files and folder are still here. Is there any program or utility that I could use to recreate this mess back into the folders and original files?
