RedHat 9.0 Install

I'm installing RedHat 9.0 for a File Server, and during the installation I picked all three drives to be checked for bad blocks. This takes a very long time. The first drive went quick (20GB), the second two drives (40GB each) are taking forever.

Indeed. I also made a Software RAID with those two 40GB drives. I hope that turns out okay. It was my first time.

I can't get RedHat 9 to detect the rtl8139C+ LAN device and RedHat has a driver named exactly that. Phooey.

i found redhat to be crappy about hardware/drivers compared to fedora or mandrake...

I think there are two rtl8139 drivers if it matters
