The EE costs a young fortune. If you're looking into this at all, perhaps the standard server will be more to your liking.
Main advantage, to me, is that it doesn't look like XP.
A big minus: "Windows Rights Management Server". DRM by any other name...

Actually, This[/rul] was most helpful to me.
On an end-user level, I don't see too much that to get excited about. I can't even make use of many of the features in 2000 Server, and I do things like policy-based software deployments.
The "Web Edition" looks interesting, though.
