What is this storage?
Mylex AcceleRAID 170 controller, 1 channel, 32 MB cache w/
- (2) Seagate Barracuda 18XL 18.4G, 7200K hard-drives (model; ST318436LWV)
- (2) AtlasV (1 never used), 18.3G, 7200K hard-drives (model: XC18L011)
- 5 connector (4 drive) U160 flat cable w/terminator
$150 US. The Barracudas have approx. 1 1/2 yr. warranty left ; the AtlasVs have approx. 3 yr. warranty left. Array hasn’t been mounted for past 2 years.
Adaptec 19160 U160 SCSI controller w/
- (2) Quantum 10KIII 18.4G, 10K hard-drives
$125 US. Hard-drives have approx. 3 years warranty left.
(3) SCSI optical drives, Internal (50 pin connectors):
- Plextor 42X CD-ROM (model: PX-40TSi)
- Yamaha CD-RW - 8x8x24 (model: CRW8824S)
- Pioneer 16X DVD, slot loading (model: DVD-305S)
- 24” round two-drive, braided aluminum cable.
$60 US. The CD-RW and DVD drives have each been used less than 10X each ; the CD-ROM is an RMA replacement and has also been lightly used.
Round U160 SCSI drive cables, 68 pins (used - black mesh):
- 15” single drive cable w/ pass-through terminator (2 connectors) -- $25 US
- 15” two drive cable w/ terminator (3 connectors: 10” – 5” spacing) -- $35 US
Flat twisted pair U160, 68 pin cables (never used: orange and white (131 ohm))
- 18” single drive cable, no terminator (2 connectors – will require a pass-through terminator) -- $10 US
- 15” two drive cable w/ terminator (3 connectors: 10” – 5” spacing) -- $40 US
32” Granite Digital U160, 68 pin, 3 drive cable w/terminator (TPO cable - used)
(spacing: 12” – 10” – 10”) - $60 US
Note: I would prefer to sell the controllers and drives in the combinations as presented, principally because I live in the Alaska Panhandle (no ground access) and will have to ship by parcel post or FedEx 2day. The latter is pricey but the better way to ensure the minimal shock in transit. I am willing to split the combinations if need be; the basic shipping charge will be $25 for ‘any’ controller/drive combination (to U.S. or Canada only). The shipping charge for cable(s) only will be $5 US for parcel post. Anything else can be worked out.
Please also note that I am willing everything listed as a package for $425 US. Included as extras would be an unused Blue Orb chipset cooler; a slightly used Cooldrive 4002 drive cooler; an unused 3COM 10/100 network adapter; a used Audigy1 Platinum soundcard; and a Seagate Cheetah 18XL 9.1G, 10K, 68 pin U160 SCSI drive (approx. 1 1/2 year warranty left).
