Seagate 10k.6 discontinued ??

My local retailer of choice tells me that the Seagate 10k.6 drives are discontinued. However, Seagate's web page shows them, and the few online retailers I checked show them too.

This guy has been always been good (I followed him from one shop to another because of service), but this somehow doesn't ring true to me. Can anyone confirm the availability of the 10k.6s? Are the ones at the online retailers the last ones making their way through the system?

Would those be the model numbers ending in 07xx (e.g. ST3146807LC)?

I'll check with my distributor, but they do show the item in stock. I would have it available for $214.95. But, like I said, I'll confirm the inventory.

If there's a replacement model in the pipe, it might make sense that they no longer manufacture them (i.e., they're discontinued). Of course, there will be new drives available for sale for some time.
