(Since Tim had such good success...)

Selling for noise level reasons really, and because I don't need the extra CPU power any more.

CPUs: 2x Athlon 1700+XPs. No pencil trick needed to get them to work in MP.
Motherboard: Tyan Tiger MP (2460) with latest BIOS. 4x 64bit slots, 2x 32bit PCI slots.
RAM: 512MB registered Nanya CAS2 RAM (2x256MB).

Shipping shouldn't be too much extra - nothing too heavy there. Any takers at AUD900? Bill (LiamC) had his chance, but unfortunately couldn't swing the budget this month...

While I'm at it, anyone want a Sun Ultra 5 (333MHz, 9GB disk, 256MB RAM, keyboard and mouse) before it goes to eBay? AUD700 plus shipping, let's say. Last time I put it up for sale the auction winner never answered his mail.

*clears throat* I can't hear a thing over the noise of the crickets chirping.

Was that a tumbleweed that just rolled past?

I've had good success selling dual setups at 2cpu. Try the for sale forum there. You'll get a better price than at ebay. Lots of Aussies there as well.

Merc:

Dunno. Probably not all that much, about USD30-40 I guess.

Cliptin:

I think I'd rather sell the whole thing as a single lot if I can.

Jake:
Make me an offer. ;)

Bill:
Thanks for the advice, I might give that a go.

James , does the Ultra 5 take a normal VGA connector or one of those proprietary Sun connectors?

Can you tell I've been busy? :(

Sorry.

Pradeep : Got your cheque today, thanks. The Sun box takes standard VGA monitors, not that fixed sync stuff.

Jake : Yeah, it is. As for what revision, I think it's 1.02. Anyway, it's the one before the revision with the new clock chip that gave you more overclocking options...
