Dead link and some browsing didn't find the article, was it pulled?

I haven't bought or played a CD that I haven't burned myself in years, but this stuff on DVD's caught my attention as I rent/buy DVD's a LOT.

I checked, yes the article was pulled. It claimed that a rootkit had been detected on a specific German DVD movie (I forget the specific title) from Sony BMG.

My guess is that it had something to do with this article from E-Week and was probably pulled because of inaccuracies. The E-Week article does not implicate Sony and tells of a copy protection scheme "like" a rootkit on a German version of Mr. & Mrs Smith.
