Yes it makes a bit of noise. It is really the only thing I hear in the whole system. It isn't that load though. I kind of wish I went with the non-stock HSF and if I get annoyed enough I may swap it out.

Does Temp 3 ever fluctuate? If it doesn't (try putting your CPU under heavy load), then it may be a misreported value. What BIOS are you using?

It doesn't seem to but neither does the CPU temp!
That could be that I'm running two folding@home services so that I'm always using 100% CPU. I'll stop them for a while and see if the temp changes.

It has gone down a couple degrees 160 to 158
Temp2 really dropped from 108 to 93.
