Here in the US it's Independence Day holiday weekend and I'm stuck in my cube at work

I'm jealous. Holiday pay is good pay, and at work I wouldn't be putting up with dumbass kids trying to set each other on fire with #$%#$%ing fireworks.

Nope but the guy at Lowe's was when we bought our cabinets and countertop for the new kitchen. Sucks to be him. They were open normal business hours too. Crazy I tell you, crazy.

I'm at work. Though we've posted standard hours, I plan on bailing and going to a friend's party as soon as it gets quiet. If everyone left right now I wouldn't mind.

It's good pay if you're hourly. Otherwise, it just sucks.

Fireworks are going off merrily around here, though it's still relatively early.

Kicked every one out of work so I could leave early, won good money at poker, drank a lot of good wine, made good progress on a girl of distinction....life is good
