I need to gain 5 inches. (It's not really for me, but a woman. )
I don't what to buy or where, but figure the base should be no more than 10x15" with a good amount of friction on both sides.
We need to travel by air and carry it around, so the weight should be low. Any ideas? Thanks.

Merc has the right idea, but you're going to want wedges instead of heels. Far more stable and off-road capable.
