Can anyone suggest a good temperature sensor? I am looking for:
1. Something designed to measure air temperature in an average room, not something designed for monitoring the inside of a computer case.
2. Something that can be easily accessed via a script on a Linux system, so I assume this means the module should connect via a serial port.
There are full-blown backyard "weather station" options out there, but I'm looking for something cheaper and more ugly/industrial. I just need a temperature sensor that I can access via some ugly, hacked script. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. Any chance someone around here can suggest one?
