If I designed a case it would look like mission-style oak on the outside and be full of 3.5" hot swap trays.

PS. That last one is modeled on the Antec 1040BX series of cases. (Similar cases have been developed by Macase as well).

The Usonian and Mission cases in the first link are definitely on the right track. I like oak and cherry wood with lots of geometric stylings, especially vertical lines.
