Actually, this picture is from MTV (the music television channel). This was taken from one of their earlier advertisements. I believe around the time they were running their "I want my MTV" campaign.

Back in my guitar playing, band-leading days, I used to always say that the secret to recognising a good drummer is that you don't notice the drumming. If you become consciously aware of what the drummer is doing, he's doing something wrong. (Either he is overplaying - the typical drummer's fault - or else he has snuck out for a quick beer, which leaves the sound a little thin.) I didn't notice that this thread had been moved until I read Herr Clippy's notice, where I did notice several times that it was out of place in the Computers Forum.

Mods: I don't notice any drumming. That's just the way I like it.
