I wish that were the case.
Actually, speaking of eBay, I recently bought a new modem via there to catch up on the times. Per chance, the person whose auction I won lives in south San Jose; so, I proposed an in-person meeting to swap cash for the modem. The guy comes back that he's leaving for vacation the next day! WTF!
So he assures me that if I send off a money order, his brother will pick it up and send the modem off priority mail. So I trudge down to the post office and send him a money order. Seeing as it takes a day for first class letters to pass from here to there, I was worried after a week. I e-mail him, and he replies, asking if I had sent it to a particular address. No, I sent it to the one on the eBay invoice. Oops, that's the wrong one!
So I have to wait for this jackass to come back from spring break to get the payment from his previous address, which he conveniently left on his eBay account. And he promptly sends the modem to me parcel post.
And he bitches to my about leaving negative feedback!
