Winbench 99 can't cope with fast Athlons?

I realize it's an obsolete benchmark, but has anyone noticed that Winbench 99 Business Diskmark spits the dummy with Athlons over about 2150MHz? I don't know the exact point, just that 2200MHz and up causes it to have a wobbly at the end - about interrupts and changes in CPU speed.

Couldn't find a fix, Blake. There's a mention of the problem when benchmarking processor speed, but eTesting Labs' suggestion to ignore the error message doesn't work.

However, I worked around it by changing the Test Settings - Error Handling to continue instead of stopping after a retry.

Hmmm, my workaround didn't work above 2.2GHz - but then I realized I had an old version of Winbench 99 and downloaded the latest v2.0. Same problem, but "Ignore" does actually work now. :-?
