Windows network drivers for Linux, thanks to wrapper

With driverloader one might be able to use windows network WLAN drivers in Linux. That might help those using cards that don't have linux drivers. Interesting I say.

IIRC NDIS is an open spec, so it probably wasn't that hard to write such a wrapper. I'd love to see something similar that would fix the high levels of obnoxiousness involved in setting up a semi-supported inkjet printer or a scanner under Linux.

What are those semi-supported inkjet printers and scanners Merc? I've mostly used printers/scanners that are quite well supported.

The ones I've run into most recently are those newish 7000-series models from HP, but in the past I've also met a lot of inkjets that for example wouldn't print in color or would only print at a fraction of their dpi-rating. My rule with Linux is"only use laser printers" but every once in awhile I have to make an inkjet work anyway.
