Windows Update for non-IE browsers

Interesting concept at least. Install their plugin and then access windows updates through a non-IE browser.

The site strongly advises that it is free, doesn't collect any sensitive user data, and does not install malware of any kind.

I honestly think that for the purpose of WinUpdate, it's better to keep IE around. You never know when MS might make a change and this 3rd party tool will break. Besides it feeds my paranoia - I don't trust unknown sw easily. I will pass.
