Microsoft was already convicted of cooking their books.
They were spreading revenue across quarters to even out there earnings.
We are talking not reporting all your profit here! Quite amazing that you would even consider doing that. The SEC gave them a warning or something.

... and AOL already announced a, what? $50 BILLION loss due to accounting iiregularities. So that's probably not going to get any worse.

How about another energy company? Exxon-Mobil, say? Or thinking really big, General Electric?

Or, and this is a personal favorite: Disney.

Probably not any of those, actually. More likely the sort of company that doesn't do anything that people can understand.

I suppose the place to go and look is f*ckedcompany.com. That place is fun in a maudlin sort of way.
