Once the phone has the password, already entered, when you hit the icon it autoconnects to my router. It also picks up other wifi networks, no problems.

Using the Wifi connection is still effective for downloads. It would also be useful if I can get Skype setup on my GF's computer again. Maybe after Christmas.
